Oxford View is a contemporary new-build residence on the steep, wooded slopes of Boars Hill, carefully designed to respond to the site’s significant ecological and topographical constraints. Enveloped by ancient woodland and mature oak trees and home to protected species such as great-crested newts and bats, the project embraces these natural conditions as opportunities, shaping a sinuous architectural form that integrates seamlessly with its environment.

An ‘upside-down’ layout places the seven-ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor, while a feature staircase leads to first-floor living spaces oriented toward expansive views of the Oxford spires. The generous accommodation includes two reception rooms, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, outdoor kitchen, cinema, sauna, gym, and golf simulator. The wider estate incorporates a garage, annex, tennis court, and a series of landscaped terraces with nature ponds and water attenuation features, creating a cohesive, environmentally sensitive design across the site.
