Huw joined OA in January 2025. Prior to joining the practice, he gained experience working on residential projects of varying scale, from single dwellings to estate regeneration for developer and local authority clients. He has a particular interest in sustainable and low carbon design, seeking to implement sustainable solutions from concept design through to on-site construction.
Since joining OA, Huw has worked on a number of retrofit projects, including the conversion of a vacant listed building into apartments, the reconfiguring of an office block into a premium self-storage facility, and the conversion of redundant barns into nine dwellings. These 'Adaptive Reuse' projects come with their own unique challenges but are inherently lower carbon and align with Huw's ethos for sustainable design.
