Clear accountability for regulatory compliance

OA provides Principal Designer services under the Building Regulations, as defined by the Building Safety Act and associated amendments. 

This role focuses on ensuring that building designs comply with all relevant Building Regulations requirements, with clear accountability for managing and coordinating compliance across the design team.

Coordinating design to meet statutory requirements

As Building Regulations Principal Designer, we oversee the coordination of design information to ensure regulatory requirements are properly considered, integrated and evidenced throughout the design process. 

We support clients in understanding their statutory duties and ensure that designers demonstrate competence and compliance within their respective disciplines.

Experience across complex and regulated projects

Our experience spans complex and technically demanding projects, including new-build developments, refurbishments and works to existing buildings. 

We are accustomed to coordinating multiple designers, managing evolving design information and maintaining clear records to support regulatory submissions, approvals and ongoing design assurance.
