Ground Broken on Harbourside Apartments
Breaking new ground in Bristol
We’re pleased to share that construction has officially started on Harbourside Apartments, a new residential scheme in the heart of Bristol Harbourside, marking an exciting milestone for this waterfront development.
Principal contractor John Perkins Construction has broken ground on the former brownfield site adjacent to Wapping Wharf, where Oxford Architects has worked closely with Simon James Homes to prepare a design that will bring 13 high-spec serviced apartments into a previously under-utilised part of the city’s celebrated harbour.
A new addition for the Harbourside skyline
The development, organised over six floors with a below-ground car park and a distinctive mix of brick, render, metal and cement board cladding, will provide a vibrant new residential presence on the Harbourside skyline.
Set to be completed in autumn 2023, the apartments - designed to respond sensitively to the surrounding cityscape and waterfront context - will offer a fresh layer of urban living close to key cultural and transport connections. The project underscores our commitment to high-quality city-centre residential design and collaborative delivery.
