We are delighted to share that Hansom Hall has been recognised as Residential Development of the Year at the Insider Media Residential Property Awards.
The award celebrates the sensitive transformation of the Grade II listed former St Agnes’ Sunday School building in Bristol into 22 contemporary homes, securing the long-term future of a vacant and historically significant structure.
Breathing new life into a listed landmark
Working on behalf of The PG Group in collaboration with Bristol City Council, we developed the scheme to achieve both Change of Use planning approval and Listed Building Consent.
The project involved the complete redevelopment and careful refurbishment of the derelict building, retaining and restoring key heritage features while adapting the interior to accommodate modern residential living. The cleaned and repaired façades, restored windows and considered internal layouts ensure the character of the original building is preserved, demonstrating how thoughtful conversion can successfully balance conservation with contemporary design
