New Look University Sports Centre Indoor Sports Centre

The Indoor Sports Centre at the University of Bristol has been remodelled to support the University's growth plans and the increasing demand for sport, exercise and wellbeing facilities. The project includes a striking new two-storey entrance with full-height glazing, external brise-soleil and a redesigned reception, creating a welcoming arrival experience while improving the building's presence on Tyndall Avenue and complementing the wider Campus Heart Pedestrianisation Scheme.

Internally, the scheme expands the gym and fitness facilities by over 30%, introduces a new 'Changing Village', refurbishes the first floor to provide a stretching studio and staff offices, and remodels the Sports Medicine Clinic. The design also supports 24-hour operation of key facilities and improves circulation throughout the building, creating a modern, efficient environment capable of accommodating increased student use.
