The redevelopment of a vacant car park into 10 low energy homes adjacent to the M32, a major vehicular gateway into the city.

The scheme consists of 10 highly sustainable, 3-bed family homes over 3 floors and seeks to reinstate the historic urban massing of the site, which was previously housing stock. The construction method will focus on sustainable methodology and all dwellings will have low embodied energy and be thermally very efficient.

The development seeks to be in keeping with the surrounding mix of buildings with regards to scale and massing whilst providing enough internal floor space for a modern family.

Photovoltaics on the mono-pitch roofs will make the most of the site’s orientation and contribute significantly to the requirement set by Bristol City Council to minimise new developments’ energy consumption and reduce CO2 emissions.
