Construction continues to gather momentum at East Ferry Road, with demolition and piling works now complete and the project preparing to rise above the Isle of Dogs skyline.
This important milestone marks the transition from enabling works to the delivery of the building itself, bringing the scheme a significant step closer to completion.

Delivering a Higher Risk Residential Building
OA were appointed as Technical Delivery Architect for the project, responsible for developing the technical design and supporting the delivery of the scheme through to completion. At almost 30 metres in height, the development is classified as a Higher Risk Building (HRB), requiring approval through the Building Safety Regulator process.
Working closely with the developer, contractor and consultant team, OA helped develop and coordinate the Gateway submissions required to secure approval and enable the project to progress on site.
New Homes in a Prominent London Location
Located on the Isle of Dogs, close to Canary Wharf, Millwall Docks and the River Thames, the completed development will provide 26 high-quality apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, alongside commercial and amenity space at ground floor level.
Designed with accessibility in mind, all homes meet M4(2) adaptable dwelling standards, while three apartments are designed to M4(3) wheelchair-accessible requirements.
As work continues on site, OA remains actively involved in the delivery of the project, working alongside the wider team to see the development through to completion. It is exciting to see the building beginning to emerge and take its place within this rapidly evolving part of London.
