Staff Promotions at OA
Recognising contribution and leadership
We are delighted to announce two well-earned promotions within the Practice, reflecting both sustained professional excellence and the breadth of contribution these individuals have made to OA.
Rob has been promoted to Associate Partner in our Bristol studio and Alex to Associate in our Oxford studio - both appointments acknowledging their leadership, commitment to design quality and ongoing influence across a wide range of projects.
Alex – technical leadership and delivery excellence
Alex has been central to the Oxford studio since joining the Practice, leading information production for the major re-roofing project at the Grade I listed St Catherine’s College and now guiding the contractor design team through delivery.
His creative flair on early feasibility studies for independent school and healthcare clients, paired with strong technical knowledge and improvements to BIM standards across the practice, exemplifies the values we foster at OA.
Rob – a career built on leadership and design
Rob joined the practice in 2005 as an architectural assistant and has steadily progressed through the company to his new role as Associate Partner, a testament to his dedication, leadership and design excellence.
Over more than 15 years he has played a central role in sustaining our strong relationship with the University of Bristol, delivering key projects from the Arts & Social Sciences Library to the more recent 31 Great George Street, demonstrating design, detail and delivery expertise across sectors and project types.
