Progress on Site at Mount Vernon Hospital

13 July 2026

Heritage Roof Restoration Underway

A recent site visit to Mount Vernon Hospital saw re-roofing works progressing on the Grade II listed Edwardian building, originally constructed in 1902.

As is often the case with heritage refurbishment projects, the full extent of the required works only became clear once scaffold access was available. Detailed inspections have enabled the team to accurately assess the roof, recording repair requirements and informing the next stage of the programme.

Projects such as Mount Vernon demonstrate the importance of a careful, informed approach to conservation. Heritage and listed building projects remain a core part of our work, helping to preserve historic buildings while ensuring they continue to serve future generations.
